Accommodation

The home has 50 bedrooms across 2 floors and is registered for 56 residents, six communal lounges/dining rooms, 4 assisted bathrooms, 8 communal toilets, 3 nurses offices/stations, two shaft lifts including a full bed lift, hairdressing salon, purpose built catering kitchen and equipment, purpose built laundry and clothing/linen store. The bedrooms vary in size and style; there are large twin rooms, for those who prefer to share, private single rooms with wash hand basins, and large single rooms with private facilities, the new wing of 32 bedrooms includes very large rooms of 15 square metres with full en-suite "wet room" facilities that include a toilet, hand basin and private shower, some with direct garden access.

Our Staff

The Nurse-Manager is: Mrs Bea Holickova 
The Manager at Tudor Lodge has changed;  the new Manager is called Bea Holickova, and she was previously a senior nurse responsible for the day to day running of the 33-bed wing of Tudor Lodge.  She assumed overall responsibility for the whole home as the previous manager retired in April 2015.

Deputy Nurse-Manager: Jenny Jeffcoat RGN. 
Jenny has over 20 years experience in nursing homes for the elderly, with the past 8 years spent at Tudor Lodge.

They are supported by a team of 20 RGN's, RMN's, SEN's and EN's.  NVQ Qualified Care Assistants.  Cook and kitchen staff, cleaners, laundry and a handyman.

We pride ourselves on a high staff to resident ratio.
